FREEDOM DAY

My new life starts today.
I asked her for a second chance and that was exactly what I got; a second chance at MY life. What a chance it will be too.
In the short time away from her, I have already done and seen so much.
Much more then we ever did together.
Looking back is a fun thing to do.
All the times she stood in my way.
All the times I let love gloss over all her ..........well everything.

I heard this song sometime ago, but it seems to take on a new meaning each time I listen to it.
Right now it makes me smile a really BIG smile.
