Art Walk: part one

When I went to Kent State University, the few pieces of public art on the campus needed a lot of love. Midway though my years there new works were made and the older art was taken away to be cleaned. So it is with great pleasure I post some pictures of the works of art that Kent has to offer. The first one I came across in my travels was the newest work on campus. The piece is a kinetic sculpture called Simon’s Reward by Evan Lewis. Hidden back by the green house of the Biology department is the beautiful Spiral Growth by Janet Lofquist.
